This app is designed to function as a remote control in conjunction with this companys specific hardware over Bluetooth and wifi. If you dont have their hardware, the app isnt for you. Given that - if you have the hardware, the app is highly unstable under iOS 8! It wont connect over wifi, randomly crashes and unpairs with the Bluetooth device if you have messages come in from another app. Within the app, you need to log in with Google plus, and search for the person you wish to connect with over wifi, which is a one-time in app purchase. It doesnt save your favorites, or previous connections, and you have to go back through the process and tell it to restore the in-app purchase EVERY SINGLE TIME! You cant FaceTime, or use another messenger app, or it will crash again. It does have a built in messenger function, but its very basic, and awkward. Given the price of the Bluetooth accessories and the fact theyre non returnable, I would wait on this until they get their collective act together on the app. Im disappointed but still hopeful they get this worked out.

How does this app let you have any freedom to know what on earth you are doing You guys need to seriously update this software

i was at a friends and she had other people over an someone borrowed my phone an i had my password for app store in notes and they downloaded this.. i didnt know what it was til i searched on google .

My girlfriend bought the OhMiBod and I got this app to play with it. The WiFi connectivity is spotty at best, and we couldnt get it to work reliably. I was already surprised you had to pay for this feature, and more surprised that I wasted $4.99. She ended up returning the OhMiBod as well, both because of this app and because the Bluetooth connectivity isnt great either. I wish I could get a refund. Stay away from this product!

Bought this device from our local adult store. $120. Charge it up and download the app. The device is incredible loud and unresponsive. The app is a joke. Connectivity is a joke. Would say its connected and then start doing its own thing. Worst app/toy ever. Very disappointed and angry that we purchased it. Dont make the same mistake we did. Avoid.

Just like the title says. Via Bluetooth it works at close range with no obstructions (I.e. Closing your legs ) over wifi with a good Bluetooth connection to the device you will find yourself connecting and disconnecting with your partner as the connection times out over and over. When you can connect it appears you may have control over the device as indicated by the app and the ability to "chat" with your partner in sms style fashion but no matter what setting you choose to play with in the app its completely in responsive to your demands. Battery life is a good 30min at best in use. I would say save your money for version 2 after they make enough money off of a product that doesnt work to build one that does.

I wish the writers could increase privacy by not requiring a connection through Google Plus. Would prefer some way to make anonymous connection via username, etc. Seems like connecting through the social network is just inviting trouble.

The whole reason I purchased ohmibod products was so my partner and I could operate them from a distance. My blue motion will connect to my phone via Bluetooth but wont connect on Google+. Wasted over $100 on something that doesnt work.

Bought this unit and tested it out immediately after reading reviews (wish I read them prior to purchasing) and I hoped that I had one of the "good ones". It worked better then expected during test run and I took the chance. Upon first use, it lost connection and would not connect via Bluetooth or wifi. It should have came with a remote! I do not recommend buying this, for it is useless if you cannot connect to it!

I have had not one problem with this product. I RTFM. everything works as promised. The Mrs and I have plenty of fun. Only thing missing would be a playlist mode to pick BPM from an existing playlist. Please add this feature.
